The book is an excellent resource for planning trips for the Mid-America Miata car club. As with any road trip book it becomes out of date quite quickly. You make your own notes and drive on.

I also like the websites because they cut down on some of the going out on site to view the areas. Though I never plan a trip without a pre drive any information on these locations helps in-the planning.

A very good book and tool to use and read for trips around Kansas City.
